About XCELL Healthcare Solutions
A Bolton Care Provider Built Around People, Not Processes
We support adults and families across Bolton with home care, supported living and specialist recovery support. Our purpose is simple: to help every person live safely, with dignity and as independently as possible, in the place they call home.

Our Story
XCELL Healthcare Solutions Ltd was founded in Bolton in 2022 with one clear aim: to offer local families the kind of care we would want for our own loved ones. Care that is reliable, respectful and shaped around the person, not squeezed into a rigid timetable.
We began by supporting older adults at home, helping people keep their routines, their independence and their connection to the community. As families and professionals asked us for more, we grew our skills and our team.
In 2025 we registered with the Care Quality Commission, and today we offer three pathways: domiciliary care at home, supported living for adults 18+ and a new residential recovery service for people affected by drug and alcohol use.
Our growth has never changed the way we work. We are still a local team, based on Chorley Old Road, who know the people we support by name.

How We Work

We start by listening. Every package begins with a free assessment, where we learn about health needs, daily routines, culture, faith and what matters most to the person.

We plan together. Care plans are agreed with the person, their family and involved professionals, with consent, and reviewed regularly as needs change.

We match carefully. Where possible, we match carers by gender preference, language, culture and shared interests, and we keep teams small so faces stay familiar.

We stay in touch. Families and professionals know who to call, and our managers are based locally so questions are answered quickly.

Our leadership team brings together experience in care delivery, safeguarding and service management. They are based in Bolton and closely involved in day-to-day care.

Our People Make the Difference
Every member of our team is recruited carefully and supported to grow. Carers complete enhanced DBS, reference and right to work checks, then a structured induction and shadow shifts before working alone. Ongoing training covers safeguarding, moving and handling, medication, dementia and specialist needs.
We are proud of our diverse team, who bring different languages, cultures and life experience to the people we support.
